Who blogs?

It's my first ever blog post and I'm feeling a little shy. I feel inspired to start a blog because I have been reading lots of them lately. As a stay-at-home mom, they help me feel connected to other moms and seem like a great way to record your childs growth and progress. I mean, am I really going to remember in 10 years that Stella's favorite word is "mick-mock"? Or that when I brought her into my bed the other morning because I wanted 5 more minutes to stay horizontal, she reached over to my nightstand, unwrapped the remainder of a clean tampon, held it up to her face and said, "hot dog"!

I'll probably remember now.

For now, my blog title is called Stella May....not that it will only be about her. (That 21 month old, cute, little, mullet-headed, sweet, monkey, fireball) I named it for her because I couldn't really think of a cool/appropriate name and she is my inspiration for becoming a better person, mother, partner, friend. She is the inspiration to start writing and recording. She is the guru who craps in her pants.
